Shane Raymond, CEO, holds a Master’s in Social Work degree from the University of South Florida and is registered within the state of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Psychotherapist. Shane has dedicated his career to the field of social work with a special emphasis in child welfare. In addition to serving as Program Director within Florida's privatized systems of care, Shane has worked as both a child welfare case manager and investigator. He collaborated with professionals from the Child Welfare League of America and Georgetown University in the development and implementation of A Family’s Guide to the Child Welfare System. The overall results of this program were presented at a national conference in San Francisco.
Shane's innovative approach to clinical drug treatment was published in the Permanency Planning Today Journal. In addition, he altered standard case management practices to allow for the routine interjection of Case Plan Conferencing, thereby creating a family driven treatment plan.
Another speciality area for Shane is Geriatrics. Shane often works with senior citizen's diagnosed with chronic illnesses and disease. As part of a multidisciplinary team Shane was able to increase autonomy, improve health status and decrease hospitalizations of this vulnerable population.
Shane has a passion for helping others and is an active member of the community, serving on various coalitions and boards. He is often called upon to present on various child welfare and therapeutic topics at both local and national conferences.
Mindy Huelle, MSW, LCSW (SW8858) is a Licensed Psychotherapist. She earned her B.S.W. from University of South Florida, majoring in Social Work and minoring in Business Management. After college Mindy Huelle worked with children and families. She then went on to obtain her M.S.W. from University of South Florida's School of Social Work.Mindy is a solution focused therapist. She has an intellectual mind and a warm, playful manner, and She utilizes her energy creatively in counseling. She prides herself on providing a laid back, warm atmosphere to help clients feel welcome. She works an eclectic theoretical perspective, with an eye toward Alfred Adler’s emphasis on personal goals, cognition, and humor.
Her professional experience inludes 12 years of working with children, adolescents and adults, in individual, couple, group therapy, family therapy and social work. She began her career working with children and families in the child welfare system. Mindy has worked in several community mental health centers in Tampa. She enjoys training other mental health professionals and facilitating workshops on such topics as family therapy, anger management, substance abuse, and relationships and intimacy. She has worked extensively with adolescents/adults who have experienced childhood trauma. Mindy also serves on the Board of Directors for the Sylvia Thomas Center. She has testified as an expert witness in court on numerous occasions. Mindy Huelle presents to graduate students and supervises interns in agencies and in private practice. Her practice also focuses on assisting clients in dealing with grief and loss, building self-esteem, improving anger management, communication and social skills, decreasing substance abuse and conduct problems, decreasing anxiety and depressive symptoms, and increasing coping and independent living skills. Mindy uses the lens of the present to look at the past, help clients heal, and create a better future.
